What you get
Why farmers choose
Beikart
We built Beikart to solve the biggest problems smallholder farmers face — unpredictable buyers, unfair prices, and no market access. Here’s what joining our network means for you.
Fair & guaranteed prices
We agree on prices upfront before collection. No last-minute price drops, no negotiations at the gate. You know exactly what you'll earn before we come to you..
Support to grow
As your farm grows, so does your relationship with Beikart. Larger volumes mean better prices. We also share demand forecasts so you know how many birds to raise each cycle.
Reliable, repeat buyers
Our institutional clients order every day— which means we come back to you every day. No more searching for buyers or selling at a loss to market traders.
We collect from your farm
No transport costs. No travelling to market. We come to you. Our collection team picks up directly from your farm on an agreed schedule.
Works on any phone
You don't need a smartphone or internet. We use USSD — just dial a short code on any phone to register your batch, confirm pickup and track your payment.
Part of a community
Join farmers who are building better livelihoods together. Beikart is more than a buyer. We're a long-term partner invested in your success.
Payments
Get paid
on time, every time
We know cash flow matters for farmers. That’s why we’ve built a payment system that’s fast, transparent and works on any phone.
M-Pesa payment
All payments are made directly to your M-Pesa number or bank account. Payment is processed the same day as collection, once the batch passes quality inspection.
Transparent pricing
You receive a full payment breakdown via SMS for every collection weight collected, price per kg, and total paid. No surprises, no deductions without explanation.
Payment history
Every payment is recorded and accessible. You can request a full payment history at any time by WhatsApp or USSD — useful for your own records and loan applications.
Volume bonuses
Farmers who supply consistently and in larger volumes earn better prices. As your farm grows and your relationship with Beikart deepens, your earnings per kg increase.
Technology
No smartphone?
No problem.
We built our farmer platform on USSD — a technology that works on every mobile phone in Kenya, even without internet or data. Just dial, follow the menu, and you’re done.
Works on any phone
Basic phones, feature phones, smartphones — USSD works on all of them. No data, no app, no internet required.

Payment is sent to your M-Pesa on the same day as collection, once the batch passes quality inspection. You receive an SMS confirmation with the full payment breakdown.
Our team will explain exactly what the issue is and how to address it for future collections. We work with you to improve — we don’t just reject and walk away. Our goal is a long-term relationship with every farmer in our network.
Currently we primarily purchase live poultry. We are expanding our product range and plan to include eggs, pork and kienyeji in our farmer procurement programme in 2026. Contact us to express your interest.
